The Rajasthan Investment Promotion Scheme (RIPS) 2024 is the state’s main package of incentives for new investment and for the expansion of existing units. If you are buying industrial or warehouse land in Rajasthan, the scheme can lower the cost of setting up.
Who Can Benefit
New enterprises, and existing enterprises making a fresh investment to expand or diversify, can apply. What a project receives depends on its sector, the size of the investment and its location. Priority sectors such as tourism and logistics get additional support.
The Main Types of Incentive
- A capital or investment subsidy linked to the amount invested
- Reimbursement of part of the state GST (SGST) paid by eligible enterprises
- Exemption or reimbursement of stamp duty on the purchase or lease of land
- Relief on land conversion charges
- Exemption from electricity duty for a fixed number of years
- Single-window support to simplify approvals
Why the Land Matters
Several of these benefits are tied to the land itself: the stamp duty on the sale deed, the conversion charges and the approvals. Land with a clear title, the right zoning and good road access makes an application smoother. Our listings of industrial land in Jaipur and warehouse land are a good place to start.
Plan Before You Buy
- Decide the project type and investment size first, since they set your benefit level.
- Check that the land’s permitted use matches the project.
- Keep the land records, conversion order and approvals ready for the application.
- Apply through the state government’s online single-window system.
